On Friday, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx, took to social media to debunk several of the ‘wild’ theories about her father’s health that are doing rounds on the internet. She said on Instagram that her father is not only out of hospital and recuperating but also playing pickleball with the family.

She said: “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”

Her message came in the heels of reports doing rounds on the internet that her the family was preparing for the worst with regards to Foxx’s health. Not only did Corinne say that her father and is well and good but also added that they have some “exciting work announcement” coming in the next weeks.

Jamie Foxx was hospitalized on April 12, 2023, due to a “medical complication” while shooting a new Hollywood blockbuster in Atlanta. However, no further information about the incident has been provided. The complication reportedly happened while the actor was shooting for the Netflix produced movie titled Back In Action that also stars Cameroon Diaz and Glen Close.

When the incident happened, it was Corianne who first broke the news through her Instagram account.

“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” she wrote.
