Jamie Foxx has been spotted in public for the first time since his undisclosed medical emergency in April, which had raised questions about his health.
The 55-year-old actor has been seen out and about in public for the first time since being hospitalized, which indicates that his recovery is going well.
The comedian may be seen Sunday aboard a mega-boat floating down the Chicago River in the image posted by TMZ. He appeared to be surrounded by friends and family members nearby. Jamie waved back in response when a ship passed him and gave the artist a loud cheer.

Since he disappeared from the public spotlight, there has been much conjecture regarding his health. While the specifics of the incident are still unknown, his co-star John Boyega just gave fans a much-needed update to allay their concerns.
“Yeah. He’s all good. He’s all good. So we’re just going to wait for him to reappear when he wants to. You know, privacy and all,” said Boyega during an interview with ET Canada.

The same source claims that he spent a Saturday night out on the town in the Chicago region, getting active and appearing to be in a good mood.
He appears to be close to recovering his previous level of health. There is still no information on what specifically occurred to him to send him to the ER in the first place, but the important is that he appears ready to make a recovery.
