Rapper Jeezy and “Real” co-host Jeannie Mai got married in an intimate wedding in their Atlanta home on March 27, as per media reports.
Originally planned to marry someplace overseas, the couple decided to get married in a small ceremony with immediate family and close friends amid the COVID-19 pandemic, reported Vogue.
The couple got engaged a year ago, in March 2020.

Mai said, “We were really looking forward to having all of our friends and family there to celebrate. But we had to change all of our wedding plans due to COVID. After Jeezy’s mother unexpectedly passed, we quickly learned that life is too short. And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife.”
Coronavirus tests were arranged for all attendees.
She added, “We decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony, where we exchanged our vows in front of our immediate family and a few close friends,” she added.
Mai wore a custom nude Galia Lahav gown and Jeezy wore a Teofilo Flor suit, as reported by Vogue.

Together since 2018, the couple met on the sets of the talk show “Real”. They went public about their relationship in August 2019.
In November 2019, Mai told PEOPLE, “We both went through enough in our life to connect on the understanding that love should feel safe, honest, and pure. Immediately, that was a magnetic attraction. We are very attracted to each other’s passions to serve. So because we have a mutual joy of having purpose, we’re going to find a way to do that together.”
