John could not receive the honour in person.

Born on July 24, 1933, in Greece, John has acted in several series including “The West Wing,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Cold Case,” and “Mad Men.”

Even before Jennifer rose to fame, her father, in an interview with E!News in 1990, spoke about what he found remarkable about her acting.

“Jennifer is a natural talent. There are certain things you can learn in this business, and there are certain things you can’t learn. The comic instinct that she has in unerring. That’s her greatest asset,” he told the outlet.
