Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is dating Joelle Rich, the lawyer who represented him in the Amber Heard UK libel trial. This comes after Depp’s nasty split with the Aquaman actor. 

The 59-year-old has had several relationships with big names in the industry. Here are all of Johnny Depp’s wives and girlfriends. 

Lori Anne Allison

Depp met his first wife, makeup artist Lori Anne Allison when he was 20. She reportedly gave Depp’s career a jump start, introducing him to Nicolas Cage who put Depp in touch with his agent, which eventually got him a role in Nightmare on Elm Street.

They married in 1983 and split two years later, but continue to remain on good terms. In 2016, Allison told TMZ that Depp was a “soft” person despite Heard’s accusations.

Sherilyn Fenn

Depp met actor Sherilyn Fenn while shooting for the 1985 movie Dummies. The two dated for three years and Fenn would later say, “He was very sweet. He was my first love”, speaking to The Big Issue. 

Jennifer Grey

The Dirty Dancing actor started dating Johnny Depp in 1989 and said in her memoir that he proposed within two weeks of their meeting. Grey was also engaged to Depp at one time, she said on The Drew Barrymore Show. 

Winona Ryder 

Depp’s high-profile courtship with Winona Ryder gave him the “Winona Forever” tattoo. When the couple split in 1993, Depp had the tattoo changed to read “Wino Forever”. 

The two have co-starred in the movie Edward Scissorhands.

Ellen Barkin

Depp dated Ellen Barkin briefly in the public eye, around 1994, before things died out, only to start a non-exclusive relationship filming Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Depp’s long-term relationship began with the French singer who he met while shooting Roman Polanski’s The Ninth Gate in Paris. They dated for 14 years, and the two have a daughter Lily-Rose and a son Jack. 

They split in 2012. 

Depp’s next marriage was to Amber Heard in 2015 and their divorce was finalized in 2016, amid physical assault allegations from both sides.
