‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 has seen Joseph Quinn emerge as the fan-favourite, playing Eddie Munson, the metalhead and president of the Dungeons and Dragons playing Hellfire Club. A video of Quinn’s recent appearance at the London Film and Comic Con fan convention showed the 29-year-old in tears.
The fan can be heard saying, “Mine’s not really a question, it’s just more an extension of gratitude” and adding “I really want to say, we’re really grateful that you’re sharing your time. Thank you for signing our things, for spending time with us and making our summer.”

She continued, “I think we’ve all connected to Eddie for one reason or another. Whether we like his taste in music, or that he’s the outsider. I think all of us are a part of Eddie. We’ve travelled far because we really connected with you as well and you made our weekend.”
The fan also noted how the actor was nice to her and her guard dog, agreeing to take a picture with them. She later shared the image on Twitter.
Hearing the fan speak of her personal experience, Quinn wiped away his tears and asked “Why’d you do that?”, drawing appreciative laughter from the audience.
Munson had many memorable moments in the show, from agreeing to put on a Michael Myers mask to steal a recreational vehicle to asserting that Iron Maiden indeed makes music.

His friendship with Gaten Matarazzo’s Dustin has automatically led to comparisons with Joe Keery’s Steve Harrington, who holds the distinction of being the Hawkins High School basketballer-turned-guardian to a bunch of plucky kids who try to solve the mysteries of the Upside Down.
Munson’s rendition of Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets’, however, remains the most iconic moment of the season and is indeed the ‘most metal concert ever‘, as the character promised.
While the character’s plan to use the song to distract the bats in the Upside Down from Vecna’s lair, leaving the antagonist exposed, works out, Munson ends up paying the price. He has to martyr himself, but though the character may not be returning to ‘Stranger Things’, love among fans for Eddie runs high and is likely to do so for some time.
