The trailer of  Lady Gaga and Adam Driver-starrer ‘House of Gucci’ is out now! The official trailer of the much-anticipated crime thriller, directed by Ridley Scott, was released on Thursday. The film also stars Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Jared Leto in pivotal roles.

The movie, which was shot entirely in Italy, is inspired by the true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. It tells the story of Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga) and how she plotted to kill her husband Maurizio Gucci (Driver), who is the grandson of renowned fashion designer Guccio Gucci.

The synopsis of the film says, “Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it’s worth and how far a family will go for control.”

The trailer has left social media users in awe.

“It looks really excellent omg I was so scared when I heard the characters will have Italian accents but it actually doesn’t sound cheap so it’s perfect + it looks like Gaga managed to improve herself as an actress which is INCREDIBLE,” one user wrote.

“It’s so good !!!! I really like to see her into another character you know cause the countess and Ally were kinda close to who she is/was but NOW we have something different… and she is fabulous, flawless, amazing,” wrote another user.

“This looks so good. Born in 1991 this is my era of the 90s nostalgia and I love it. The cars, Saturday morning cartoons. fashion particulars the jumper around your waist tied,” another user commented.

Gucci president and chief executive officer Marco Bizzarri had confirmed the movie saying, “Gucci is collaborating with MGM and Scott Free Productions by providing access to the house’s historical archive for wardrobe and props.” He, however, said the family is now no longer associated with the brand.

The movie is set to release in the United States on November 24.
