Kanye West, the rapper who has been under fire in recent weeks over his anti-Semitic comments, has now found himself escorted out of the headquarters of footwear brand Skechers after he engaged in “unauthorized filming” within the premises, the company has said in a statement.

This incident comes soon after Adidas, the German sportswear brand, discontinued their business relationship with West over his racist remarks.

Skechers released a statement soon after news spread about the incident involving West: “Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West”, adding, “[We] do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech”.

The statement further read, “Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation”.

A number of brands have already disassociated themselves from West after he said in an interview that a Jewish mafia controls the media. Among such brands are Balenciaga, GAP, Adidas, and JPMorgan Chase. His former talent agency, CAA, also dropped West as a client.

As a result of these deals being pulled off, West has lost his status as a billionaire, according to Forbes. The Adidas deal itself was worth around $1.4 billion, and without it, West’s net worth is somewhere around $400 million.

The rapper’s former wife, Kim Kardashian, along with a number of members of her family, also posted on social media against the remarks made by West without naming him directly.

West found support from an antisemitic group which hung a banner reading “Kanye is right about the Jews” from a Los Angeles overpass. Members of the group also did a Nazi salute.

Besides his anti-Semitic remarks, West has also been in hot soup over his comments about the death of George Floyd. He remarked that Floyd died because of fentanyl consumption, and not as a result of former police officer Derek Chauvin choking him with his knee.
