Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor, has turned 47 on Friday, cried for nights during her struggling days in the film industry. Even though she worked with all leading male actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda and Amir Khan, her sister Kareena Kapoor once spoke about Lolo’s struggle in Bollywood.
During an interview with Simi Garewal, Kareena revealed how the ‘Zubeidaa’ actor used to cry for nights with their mother Babita Kapoor. She said, “I have seen my sister sit up for nights together with my mother and cry, saying that people are putting her down and that she would never make it. I would hide behind and watch because they would never want me to see the pain they were going through, I have seen too much.”

She added, “As a child, I have seen a lot with my mother, my sister. I have lived their lives with them gone through their traumas. I think I have seen my sister cry for nights together to go to sleep when she was struggling. And that hurts me.”
Karisma was one of the famous actors in the 90s. From ‘Raja Hindustani to ‘Biwi Number 1’, she gave Bollywood some of her best work.

Karisma got married in 2003 to Sunjay Kapoor and after the birth of her kids Samaira and Kiaan, she took a break from acting. She was last seen in the 2020 web series ‘Motherhood’.
