Bollywood couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were among the celebs who attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s Mumbai home on Wednesday.  While Katrina wore a stunning in a yellow sharara, Vicky opted for a mustard kurta and churidar. The couple walked into the venue hand-in-hand and also smiled and posed for the paparazzi. Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle also made it to the guest list.

Salman, who was also present, shared a video where he can been performing the aarti along with Arpita, Aayush Sharma and actor Reteish Deshmukh. 

“Ganpati Bappa Morya,” he captioned the video. 

Katrina and Vicky tied the knot at a resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, on December 9 last year. 

Vicky Kaushal recently made an appearance on the popular chat show Koffee with Karan along with Sidharth Malhotra. During the episode, he spoke about what he said to the pandit during his wedding.

“While all these random news were making the rounds, I was just there with the pandit ji saying, jaldi nipta dena, please. Ek ghante se jyada nahi.” He further added, “Every day during the wedding, these funny memes, tweets and messages would be shared on the internet and we were aware. We had my friends who read them out for us to have a good laugh. We used to have a blast finding them,” he said.

Katrina, who walked the Filmfare Awards red carpet on Tuesday, opened up about their hush-hush wedding.

Katrina told Zoom at the event, “I think more than trying to keep it private, we were restricted by, unfortunately, Covid-19. You know my family has been personally affected by Covid-19, and it was something that you had to take seriously.”

She further added, “I think this year it’s been a lot better, but it was something that we wanted to really be cautious of, but the wedding was beautiful. I think we are both very happy.”
