Bollywood’s rumoured couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding festivities began on December 7 in the presence of family and close friends at the Six Senses Fort Barwara hotel at Chauth Ka Barwara in Sawai Madhopur district.  According to reports, the lovebirds will take a small break from work for their honeymoon in the Maldives, after tying the knot on December 9.

According to Pinkvilla, “Despite being busy, the newlyweds will take out few days for honeymoon and head to Maldives before resuming their respective projects”.

Both Katrina and Vicky’s hands are full with projects.

Katrina will resume YRF’s ‘Tiger 3’ shoot in December.  The film stars Salman Khan in the lead role. She is also expected to begin shooting Sriram Raghavan’s next project alongside Vijay Sethupathi around the same time.

Vicky, on the other hand, will be busy shooting Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming biopic on Sam Manekshaw titled ‘Sam Bahadur’. The actor will also be seen in the comedy-drama ‘Mr. Lele’. 

Around 120 guests are invited for the wedding at the Six Senses Fort in Barwara, Sawai Madhopur. Attendees include the likes of filmmakers Karan Johar and Farah Khan.

The other celebrities who are confirmed to attend the wedding are Nitya Mehra, Dr. Jewel Gamadia (Katrina’s holistic doctor), Yasmin Karachiwala (her trainer), Amit Thakur (hair stylist), Daniel Bauer (makeup artist), Angad Bedi, Neha Dhupia, Sunny Kaushal’s girlfriend Sharvari Wagh, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, and Angira Dhar.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rohit Shetty, Hrithik Roshan, and Ali Abbas Zafar might also be present at the wedding. However, their presence isn’t confirmed yet. 

Katrina and Vicky will host a grand reception in Mumbai for all their industry friends later.

Also, the couple has issued several rules for guests to follow at the resort. They have even imposed a no-mobile diktat for guests. Some of the other rules include no disclosure of wedding attendance, no photography, no sharing pictures on social media, no sharing location on social media, no contact with the outside world till you leave the venue, all photos to be published only after approval from wedding planners and no reels or videos can be made at the wedding venue.
