Kellie Pickler’s husband, Kyle Jacobs died at age 49. Jacobs was found “deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot in an upstairs bedroom/office,” a spokesperson for the Nashville Police Department said. “His death is being investigated as an apparent suicide,” the statement added.
Pickler and Jacobs got engaged after a year and a half of dating in 2010. They got married in a surprise ceremony on New year’s Day in 2011. Pickler is a country music singer, songwriter, and television personality.

Who are Cynthia Morton and Clyde “Bo” Raymond Pickler Jr?
Kellie Pickler was born on June 28, 1986, in Albemarle, North Carolina, to Cynthia Morton and Clyde “Bo” Raymond Pickler Jr. Cynthia left when Kellie was two years old, then came back and took custody of her for two years. Cynthia left Pickler Jr to flee an abusive relationship. Later, the court returned Kellie to her grandparents when she was 12 and they raised her to adulthood because her father was absent in her life. She would live with her father every time he was not incarcerated. She has a half-sister named Courtney and two half-brothers, Eric and Michael.

Her father Clyde Pickler Jr died on September 16, 2019. He reportedly died from a massive heart attack. Pickler Jr struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction. He has been in and out of trouble with the law for much of his life, including aggravated battery and assault related to a stabbing.
Kellie wrote the song The Letter to Daddy with Nashville songwriters Dale Dodson and Deal Dillon as she looks back at the time when her father was in prison.
“People have a perception and opinion of him and his past, but my dad inspired me in so many ways. I’ve always been a daddy’s girl. He was not a part of my life,” she said. The singer also admitted that there are moments in the song where she’d get emotional that her voice would crack.
