Min Yoon-gi or popularly known by his stage name Suga turned 28 on Tuesday. BTS band member Suga is famous among his fans as a rapper, songwriter and music producer.

He started following his passion at a very young age; writing lyrics for songs at the age of 13 and ending up recording in a studio at the age of 17. He drew his inspiration for rapping from Stony Skunk’s ‘Ragga Muffin.’

The artist has produced two solos under the band’s name- ‘First Love’ and ‘Trivia Seesaw,’ a song that talked about falling in love, the ups and downs of a relationship. In 2018, he was awarded the Order Of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea.

Suga is also a pianist and there are over 100 registered songs credited to him by the Korea Music Copyright Association. He writes songs on love, hope and never giving up on your dreams no matter what.
