Lance Reddick, known for his work on HBO’s The Wire and the John Wick movie franchise has died. Lance’s body was found at his Studio City home Friday morning around 9:30 AM, reported TMZ. His cause of death is currently unclear but it appears to be natural.

Reddick has been doing a press tour for the fourth instalment of the John Wick franchise, he plays Charon in the movie, and had a guest appearance scheduled for next week on Kelly Clarkson’s show.

Lance Reddick’s wife

He was married to Stephanie Reddick since 2011. Stephanie is the stepmother to Lance’s two children, Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick, from his first marriage to Suzanne Yvonne Louis. After marriage, she changed her name to Stephanie Reddick from Stephanie Diane Day. She first met Lance while working at the Gutherie Theatre in 1999. He was part of a play crew that had come to perform at the same theatre at the time.

Net worth

Lance Reddick had an estimated net worth of $4 million.

Reddick started his screen career in the mid-1990s, guesting on such series as The Nanny and New York Undercover. In the late 1990s, he appeared on the big screen in pics including Great Expectations and The Siege before recurring on HBO’s Emmy-winning 2000 miniseries The Corner, which was based on David Simon’s book.

Reddick is best known for his performances in television as Cedric Daniels on the Wire and Philip Broyles on Fringe. Among his other significant works are Oz and Lost, including the John Wick movie franchise. Apart from television from films, he has lent his voice to numerous video games, including Quantum Break, Horizon Zero Dawn, and several installments of the Destiny franchise.
