Keanu Reeves is one of the most adored personalities of Hollywood, so it does not come as a surprise that fans tried to simulate sex with his avatar in ‘Cyberpunk 2077’. In the game, Reeves voices the character of Johnny Silverhand. Since the character is modelled to look like him, fans have gone crazy and managed to find a game function allowing them to have sex with Silverhand.
Notably, the characters remain fully clothed during these encounters. CD Projekt Red, the minds behind the game, have taken down this modification. However, the ‘Point Break’ star has said that he is okay with being the subject of so many players’ sexual fantasies. He cheekily said that it is always nice, if others find it nice.

The actor also elaborated that porn has a lot of money, and there are situations where people have digital sex with the avatars. He appeared to be referencing Only Fans, calling it ‘Members Only’. Reeves continued saying that there were numerous fetishes which were monetized, like VR sexual simulation. He also spoke about arousal metrics being used to analyze user data. Reeves’ point was that with the digitization of one’s sexual experience, and the further monetization of it, there couldn’t really be any complaints about players trying to have sex with an in-game avatar.

He opened up about the 1999 original sometime back, saying that an androgynous character Switch, was supposed to be played by a woman in the Matrix world, and a man in the real world. However, the studios were not ready for that, and it was changed in the movie.
