Pakistan’s Aamna Imran has taken the internet by storm because of her uncanny resemblance to Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The ‘Devdas’ star has had a number of ‘doppelgängers’ over the years, including the likes of Marathi actor Manasi Naik, Bollywood actor Sneha Ullal and Iranian model Mahlagha Jaberi. But the internet is awestruck with the similarities Aamna’s and Aishwarya’s features.

“My father is Pakistani, whereas his parents are Indian. My mother and her parents are from Afghanistan. I speak English and Urdu (fluent), basic Persian and comprehend Punjabi,” she told HT.

Aamna also said that she works in the United States as a travelling medical professional covering dialysis clinics, adding that three of her siblings are also in the medical profession.

“I love spending time with my family (especially parents), travelling to big cities, tasting ethnic foods, appreciating art, reading thriller books, and watching movies,” she said.

Although Aamna admitted she was thrilled over being compared with Aishwarya, it is not something new for her, as she used to be compared with the Bollywood star while growing up as well.

She also confirmed that she has already started receiving offers from a few Pakistani filmmakers and that she is loving every bit of attention she is receiving.

“It has been an honour and pleasure feeling the love, kindness, and support from beautiful souls globally. Truly humbling,” she said.
