Hollywood duo Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have reportedly split up after dating for a year and a half, a source told People magazine on Saturday.

“Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken,” the source said, adding that they “still love each other.”

“Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other,” the source revealed.

Earlier this year, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. However, rumours of their breakup began circulating after Harvey was spotted solo on the red carpet of the 75th Cannes Film Festival last month.

In November last year, the duo celebrated their one-year anniversary, months after the ‘Black Panther’ star made their relationship public on social media.

In December, the 35-year-old told The Hollywood Reporter that he “finally found what love was” while dating the 25-year-old model.

Explaining why he decided to make it official on Instagram, Jordan had said, “When I was younger, I don’t know if I could have handled the onslaught of opinions and being picked apart, and also being conscious of what the other person’s going to go through. It takes a special person to deal with that.”

On the other hand, Lorey, the daughter of television personality Steve Harvey, spoke about her relationship in September and said that Jordan is “so sweet, very attentive; he listens to me and the things that I say that I want, and he really makes an effort.”
