Posting a statement on @FindTanyaFear on Monday, they thanked police and members of the public for their efforts in locating Tanya.

“We understand she is not physically harmed, but as a precaution, is being assessed at a local hospital,” it said.

The actor, whose full name is Tanyaradzwa Fear, was also seen in TV’s Spotless, Endeavour, DCI Banks and Midsomer Murders. She was seen in the movie Kick-Ass 2 and had recently started doing stand-up comedy.

According to Mail Online, Tanya’s mum Yvonne Marimo had posted a plea on Monday, which read: ‘I want my daughter to be safe.

‘I would appeal to her directly that, if she is reading this, to please get in touch with someone just to let us know that you are ok,’ her mother had said.

Her manager Alex Cole said the actor, who was born in Zimbabwe and brought up in the UK, is in LA for roughly two months performing stand-up comedy in the area.
