Bollywood actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi died on Wednesday due to a heart ailment, his son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi confirmed in a social media post. He was 68.

The veteran actor has a diverse filmography and has worked with a variety of Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor. Here is a list of his most iconic films:

Koi Mil Gaya

Mithilesh Chaturvedi was seen in Hrithik Roshan’s Koi Mil Gaya, one of India’s first movies Sci-Fi movies that brought aliens to the silver screen. Chaturvedi was seen playing the character of Mr. Mathur, a computer teacher in Rohit Mehra’s (Hrithik Roshan) school. He also had a cameo in the film’s sequel Krrish.

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha

Chaturvedi played a crucial role in the 2001 classic film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which also had actors like Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel. He played the role of Idris, newspaper editor. The story unfolds during India and Pakistan’s partition in 1947.

Taal

Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi played the role Rambhajan in the 1999 film Taal, which was directed by veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai. The movie also has stars like Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Amrish Puri. The movie also premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival that year.

Satya

Ram Gopal Verma’s 1998 film Satya is the first part of the Gangster trilogy. Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi played the role of a builder named Mr. Malhotra. The film won six Filmfare Awards and a National Film Award.
