Money Heist has characters that you either love or despise, and they’ve been evolving in exciting and unexpected ways. Regardless of how you feel about each of them, the show would be incomplete without them. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

The Professor

All criminal masterminds probably wish they had a brain like his. The Professor is far too clever to be the mastermind behind the heists at the Royal Mint of Spain and the Bank of Spain. He considers himself a master of deception because he is always able to fool the authorities.

Bérlin

Bérlin, The Professor’s half-brother, was the second-in-command when the crew robbed the Royal Mint of Spain. It’s rare to find a TV character who is both annoying and interesting, but Berlin was the perfect example. He was charming and arrogant at the same time. Berlin and Professor sing the Italian revolutionary song Bella Ciao in one of the series’ most memorable moments.

Tokyo

In addition to being attractive, Tokyo is also intelligent and unpredictable. She also narrates the show. The Professor likes her despite her lack of manners. The fact that she was one of the first people he recruited for his mission speaks volumes about her character.

Inspector Alicia Sierra

Even though she’s a villain, there are plenty of reasons to adore her nonetheless. Inspector Sierra, despite being heavily pregnant, causes havoc for The Professor and his crew. As far as law enforcement is concerned, she is the only one who has been able to outsmart him and make him lose his cool.

Arturo

As the most annoying TV character, Arturo has threatened to dethrone Tariq, who currently holds the position. After the first heist, he manages to become famous by writing a book in which he is portrayed as the savior. On the day of the second robbery, he returns to the Bank of Spain to relive the experience for the second time. It’s clear that he’s obsessed with the group.

Nairobi

Known as a master of the art of coinage and counterfeiting, Nairobi was charged with ensuring the money that was being printed during the Royal Mint heist was of the highest quality possible. She is fatally shot by a police sniper at the end of the third season after Inspector Sierra tricks her into looking through the window to see her son.

Denver

Denver is introduced to the world of crime by his father Moscow, who has left the mining industry due to insufficient pay. During the heist at the Royal Mint, he falls for one of the hostages named Monica (who also happens to be Arturo, the mint’s director’s mistress). Monica, in a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome, also falls for him.

Río

Río is brought in because of his hacking abilities, but the criminal life appears to overwhelm him. He’d rather be on the computer playing Mortal Kombat. However, he is crucial to the plot. He almost surrenders to the cops at one point. But he must stay because he is in love with one of the gang members named Tokyo. It’s also his fault that the identities of the crew are known to the cops.

Gandía

Gandía is the type of villain who makes Arturo cry out for his mother, and other well-known television villains would have to fight him tooth and nail. Because he’s insane, he’s fascinating. The addition of Ganda to the show’s cast raised the stakes to a whole new level.

Inspector Raquel Aka Lisbon

Initially, she is the woman in charge of leading the unit tasked with taking down The Professor and his crew. However, after a series of encounters with the brilliant criminal, she falls in love with him. She later joins the robbers and takes on the name Lisbon.
