Money Heist Season five, volume one is all set to release on Friday at 12:30 pm IST on Netflix. The second volume is scheduled to release at the end of 2021, which will mark the end of the Spanish series. 

Money Heist, also known as ‘La Casa De Papel’ in Spanish became an international sensation when it first aired on Netflix in 2017. The series is set to make a comeback with its fifth and final season this year. 

Season four of Money Heist broke its personal records by garnering over 65 million views. It became the second most popular non-English show after the French mystery thriller Lupin.

As per the reports, the final season was divided into two volumes with five episodes in each volume. Last month the makers released the trailer for part five, volume one of Money Heist.

The show will have two new characters, José Manuel Seda as Sagasta, the commander of the Spanish Army’s Special Forces, who is set to destroy the Professor and the gang. And Patrick Criado will essay the role of Rafael, Berlin’s (Pedro Alonso) son.

At the end of  Season 4, Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) held The Professor (Alvaro Morte) at gunpoint. The gang had a difficult time escaping the Bank of Spain as it was surrounded by armed forces. In the basement of the bank, the gang continued to melt down the gold into balls for extraction.

Indian DJ Nucleya released an Indian version of the Money Heist’s theme song ‘Bella Ciao’ titled ‘Jaldi Aao’. It was sung in three Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 

The music video of the song featured actor Anil Kapoor, Shruti Hassan, Vikrant Massey, Radhika Apte, Rana Daggubati and cricketer Hardik Pandya and Nucleya himself. ‘Jaldi Aao’ was also performed by the Bigg Boss OTT contestants as part of the task.
