Actress Mouni Roy tied the knot with Dubai-based entrepreneur Suraj Nambiar today in Goa. Wedding photos of Mouni dressed as a gorgeous south Indian bride were shared by fans and friends on the internet. The haldi and mehendi ceremonies were held yesterday.

In one of the pictures, Mouni is adorned with gold bangles and is clad in a red-and-white saree, while Suraj is dressed in a cream-colored kurta and white lungi.

In another photo, Suraj Nambiar ties the taali (mangalsutra) around her neck, while the couple is showered with flowers.
In one picture, the duo shares a tight hug after their marriage.

The wedding reports have come as a surprise for many as Mouni had remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Suraj Nambiar. According to media reports, Mouni and Suraj have been dating each other for a couple of years now. However, her posts often set the tongues wagging about her relationship with Suraj
The couple met each other in Dubai in 2019 during New Year’s Eve. They did not have any common friends to introduce them to each other.

Though the couple never made their relationship official they were often seen together at parties.
In August 2020, when Mouni had shared a video of herself trying her hands at shooting hoops, the video had a background voice of Suraj cheering his ladylove.

The actress had welcomed 2021 with Suraj and his family in Dubai.
