Actor Mouni Roy is reportedly all set to tie the knot with boyfriend Suraj Nambiar next year. The actor’s cousin told a local newspaper in Cooch Behar that she will be marrying the Dubai-based businessman in January and that the wedding will take place either in Dubai or Italy.

Suraj is a Dubai-based businessman and banker, who hails from Bangalore and has studied investment science and International management from Stanford University.

The rumours of the duo dating started doing the rounds in 2019 when a close friend of the actor had shared a picture of the two from Mouni’s birthday party. The picture was deleted. 

When asked, Mouni refuted dating rumors and said that he was just a friend and everyone was partying together.

“Not true. We are all a bunch of friends and we went together to celebrate my birthday. I am very much single and concentrating only on my work. I am sick of rumours and speculations,” she had said at the time.

In August last year, a video of the two playing basketball in Dubai also surfaced on the internet. Earlier this year, Mouni’s mother met Suraj’s parents at her close friend Mandira Bedi’s house. Following this, several reports claimed that Mouni was all set to marry Suraj this year. 

Reacting to the rumours, Mouni had said, “I keep my personal life completely private so many every time you ask me about my personal life my answer is gonna be this. When it happens, the whole world will know I will only say that.”

Mouni was previously in a relationship with actor Gaurav Chopra. The couple broke up in 2012. She later started dating actor Mohit Raina and the two broke up in 2018.
