Rapper Yung Gravy and Sheri Easterling arrived at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday together. The two had coordinated outfits, with Yung Gravy’s shirt being the same colour as Easterling’s dress. Amid dating rumours, the two also shared a kiss on the red carpet.

The rumours of Yung Gravy dating Sheri Easterling, 42,  had dominated the buzz on TikTok earlier this year. According to reports from the entertainment website Bustle, Sheri Easterling is the mother of Addison Rae, a social media influencer with nearly 40 million followers on Instagram.

Rapper Yung Gravy, 26, also acknowledged his pair-up with Easterling. “We met online and connected right away”, he said after performing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. “I am from the furthest north it gets, and she is from the furthest south it gets”, the rapper added, according to Bustle.

According to reports from People, Easterling was separated from her husband Monty Lopez, who allegedly cheated on Easterling.

Rumours of Yung Gravy dating Easterling upset Lopez, who then challenged the 26-year-old rapper to a boxing match in July this year. Advising Lopez to “grow up”, Yung Gravy said that Lopez was “embarrassing his whole family.” The videos have now been deleted from Lopez’s social media accounts.

Yung Gravy was charged with warming up the crowd at the pre-show of the MTV VMAs on Sunday. He was part of the opening crew, alongside artists like Saucy Santana and Dove Cameron.

Yung Gravy got the audience grooving to his song Betty (Get Money), which samples Rick Astley’s inescapable 1987 hit Never Gonna Give You Up and is the rapper’s first Billboard Hot 100 single. He wore a sleek white suit along with a purple shirt to the event.
