- Bhoomi replied, “What do you think about Mika Trivedi?"
Singer Mika Singh, whose recent photos with actor Akanksha Puri sparked wedding rumours, is back in news, and this time, for 'proposing' to singer Bhoomi Trivedi on national television.
In Saturday's episode of the music reality show “Indian Pro Music League” (IPML), Mika Singh, along with Asees Kaur and Rupali Jagga, performed the title song of the film “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” and during the act, Mika walked over to Bhoomi and got her onto the stage. As he sang the song, he asked Bhoomi, “Mujhse shaadi karogi (will you marry me)?”
Host Karan Wahi then asked the two to dance together, and that’s when Mika 'proposed' to her again.
“Bhoomi, ab toh bata do, mujhse shaadi karogi? Sab log Bhoomi se jude hain, maine socha main bhi Bhoomi se jud jaaoon (Bhoomi tell me now, will you marry me? Everyone is connected to Bhoomi, I thought I should, too). What do you guys think about Bhoomi Singh?” Mika asked the singer.
Bhoomi replied, “What do you think about Mika Trivedi? But to be honest, I have come here to find a bride for you, it would be injustice to them.”
Last week, Mika and Akanksha Puri posted videos of them seeking blessings at a gurudwara, sparking wedding rumors.
"Seeking blessings @mikasingh," Akanksha wrote in the caption, with heart emojis, along with hashtags #feelingblessed #togetherforlife.
