The new thriller “Squid Game” is about a mystery
survival game with a prize of 45.6 billion won on the line. Lee Jung Jae and
Park Hae Soo will play two childhood friends who find up participating in the
game, only to discover that there is more at risk than just money.

The game’s competitors scream in dread as they run
for their lives in front of a gigantic robot in a newly published poster for
the forthcoming drama. Despite the game’s faceless workers’ brightly coloured
uniforms and the robot’s supposedly innocent appearance (it’s meant to seem
like a little girl), the blood-stained ground and stack of victims in the
backdrop indicate exactly how deadly a game they’re playing.

another in lethal versions of six classic Korean children’s games.

When the 456 competitors, all of whom are in
desperate need of money, agree to participate in the game, they quickly
discover that there is no way out. Losing the game means you’ll lose your life,
but refusing to participate also means you’ll be eliminated. Only the last
survivor will receive the 45.6 billion won prize.
