Latest photos from the set of Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ suggest that Wonder Woman and Superman exist in the universe, which stars Robert Pattinson as the lead, reported Screenrant.

The new photos show two extras on the set dressed as Wonder Woman and Superman respectively. The appearance suggests the people of Gotham are attending a Halloween party, but nothing has been confirmed by the producers yet.

Even if the photos are from a Halloween party in the film and not the actual superheroes making an appearance, their mere presence suggest that both the superheroes exist in Reeves’ universe.

Along with these, earlier, a few other set photos with the main characters appeared on social media. Fans were surprised to see Colin Farrell as he looked completely unrecognisable with heavy prosthetics,

‘The Batman’ production had taken a break last month, after Robert Pattinson tested positive for coronavirus. Originally scheduled to release in June 2021, the reboot was first pushed to October 2021, and is now slated to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.

‘The Batman’ will have Pattinson as Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Paul Dano  as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Alex Ferns as Commissioner Pete Savage, Con O’Neill as Chief Mackenzie Bock and Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson.
