HORIZON CALL OF THE MOUNTAIN

‘Horizon Call of the Mountain’, a PSVR2 exclusive title from Guerilla Games, showcased some combat and navigation gameplay

There appears to be a lot of climbing, similar to the console game, and the sights are impressive. The satisfying-looking bow battle has piqued everyone’s interest.

What gamers want to know is how the game handles tough VR controls in the heat of battle against those robotic creatures.

RESIDENT EVIL 8

‘Resident Evil Village’ will receive a patch from Capcom that will enable VR functionality on the PSVR2 headset.

Comparable to ‘Resident Evil 7’, Sony’s headset gets exclusive access to Capcom’s first-person horror adventure’s VR experience.

Capcom hasn’t revealed a specific release date for the VR content, but it appears to be soon.

We witnessed Ethan, the main character, switch firearms between his hands like a gunslinger.

RESIDENT EVIL 4’S REMAKE

The first-ever footage of the ‘Resident Evil 4’ remake was shown at Capcom’s State of Play event.

While the primary game appears to be a third-person adventure (much like the original), Sony has confirmed that PSVR2 content is in the works.

It’s unclear whether this will turn the game into a first-person shooter, similar to the VR adaption that debuted in 2021 on the Meta Quest 2.

If that’s the case, it’ll almost certainly be a much higher-resolution and immersive experience.

Neither pricing nor a release date for the headgear has been announced.
