Forestella’s Ko Woo Rim and Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kim Yuna will marry in October, her management agency announced Monday. 

Reportedly, the two will get married in Seoul. 

The exact date and venue of the wedding have not been made public yet, but reports suggest it’ll be a private ceremony. 

As per the agency, the two met at an ice show in 2018 and have dated for three years. 

Beat Interactive, the 27-year-old singer’s record label, also shared a message after the news of their marriage. 

They said: 

“We are announcing the good news about our artist Ko Woo Rim. Ko Woo Rim will be tying the knot with ‘Figure skating queen’ Kim Yuna this October. 

The wedding will be held in private with close friends and family so please understand that we can’t notify the exact date and place of the wedding.

Ko Woo Rim and Kim Yuna first met in 2018 at the ‘All That Skate’ ice show and they are getting married after 3 years of relationship. 

Ko Woo Rim graduated from Seoul National University College of music and is a member of Forestella, the group that won on JTBC’s ‘Phantom Singer 2’. He will continue his activities as pop and classical singer after marriage. Please send a lot of support for his activities as he continues his career in a stable family.”

The letter confirms that the singer will continue performing with Forestella even after his marriage.

A representative from Kim Yuna’s agency further said, “In late October in Seoul, [Kim Yuna] will be getting married to vocalist Ko Woo Rim. Both Kim Yuna and Ko Woo Rim want to hold an ordinary wedding ceremony with family, close friends, and acquaintances, so we will be carrying out the ceremony in private without revealing the wedding date and wedding hall location. We ask for understanding from the fans.”
