PnB Meen on Wednesday dropped the teaser of his new song ‘3-3-23’, which is about his brother PnB Rock.

The Philadelphia artist was shot dead at a Los Angeles waffle house while having lunch with Stephanie Sibounheuang. He was fatally shot during a robbery at a South Los Angeles restaurant. Police believed that a social media post might have tipped the attacker to his location.

The 30-year-old artist whose real name was Rakim Allen was having lunch with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang on September 12, 2022, at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant, when a robber approached their table and demanded items from the victim. A verbal exchange concluded when the assailant opened fire, shooting the rapper multiple times, according to the Los Angeles police. 

The robber after taking some items fled in the car that was waiting in the parking lot. No other person was injured in the shooting but the rapper was pronounced dead at the hospital.

PnB Rock was known for his rap-crooner R&B style. His most popular works included his 2016 hit Selfish. He made guest appearances on other likeable songs such as YFN Lucci’s Everyday We Lit, Ed Sheeran’s Cross Me with Chance the Rapper and XXXTentacion’s Bad Vibes Forever, featuring Trippie Redd. 

He released his last song, Luv Me Again on September 2, 2022. 

His stage name, PnB Rock was derived from a street corner called Pastorius and Baynton, an area where he grew up in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Germantown.

In an interview before his death, the rapper spoke on the gang culture in Los Angeles and how robberies of rappers are becoming common in the city. He called the criminals “bold” and also narrated a story about a group of people who followed him, his girlfriend and his child.
