Prince Harry shared some steamy details about having sex with his now-wife Meghan Markle during the early days of their relationship in his memoir Spare, which was released on Tuesday, January 10.

The Duke of Sussex recounted passionately the way in which he and Meghan reunited in London after spending weeks apart in the summer of 2016. Incidentally, in the same memoir, the 38-year-old opened up about losing his virginity at an early age.

Coming back to Meghan, Harry revealed how the couple spent the night at one of the Soho House branches on the day of the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. He recalled waiting “breathlessly” outside her room until she opened the door and “pulled me inside.”

“I want to say we hung a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door. But I don’t think there was time,” he wrote. At the time the couple was nearly two months into their relationship and Meghan had apparently instructed him to meet her at the Soho House where she was staying.

This was after they had been on their romantic trip to Botswana. The pair had been forced to spend several weeks apart because Harry had been on a vacation with his friends.

Before their romantic and steamy reunion, Meghan had flown to London to meet him. While he was laying flowers on his mother’s grave at Althorp with the Prince of Wales, Meghan had texted him that she had made it to the UK, Harry revealed in the book.

After driving back to London with his brother, Prince William, Harry met Meghan later that day. She had told him to take a secret way to the hotel and a freight lift, where he met a friend of hers named Vanessa who guided him to her hotel door.

As soon as Meghan opened the door, she reached out for Harry, with her arms stretched. “She pulled me inside and thanked her friend in one fluid motion, then slammed the door quickly before anyone saw,” he wrote.
