When it comes to being a pro memer or joining a social media bandwagon, one cannot beat Mumbai police. Their memes and trends to promote public interest messages have always been unique. This time, Mumbai Police transformed names of big Bollywood celebrities into COVID-19 restrictions and protocols.

The law enforcement body has launched a #BeBollyGood campaign in which they played with names of Bollywood actors like Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bacchan, Deepika Padukone, Ayushmann Khurana, Kajol among others and used their iconic dialogues to turn the post into a COVID protocol reminder. How you ask? Take a look for yourself.

Since masks are our strongest weapon in the fight against COVID, Mumbai Police used Big B’s image and dialogues to educate people on wearing a face mask properly.

Rajesh Khanna’s name on the other hand is used to remind people to not step out for dining and rather order food at home. See.

Meanwhile, the gorgeous Deepika Padukone is advising people to get their cab straight back home after buying essentials.

So, apparently, Ayushmann Khurrana is urging some Ayush not to step out unnecessarily as the virus continues to wreak havoc in the country.

Others on the list are Kalki Koechlin, Vidya Balan, Ranveer Singh, and Abhishek Bacchan.

Junior Bachchan Abhishek, here is giving a very important tip on proper pandemic practices. Not to shake hands.

This effort by Mumbai police to aware Mumbaikars of COVID protocols has been lauded by social media users. Mumbai, which is one the worst affected cities by the second deadly wave of coronavirus, is now seeing a decline in new infections.

Mumbai on Friday added 1,416 COVID-19 cases to its tally, taking it to 6,95,080.
