Dance preps have begun in full swing for Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh ahead of his performance at the Indian Premier League‘s closing ceremony on Sunday. 

In the glimpses of his practice sessions on Instagram, Singh was seen in a casual white t-shirt, dark sweatpants, and his hair tied up in a half-bun. The 32-second-long montage features the actor rehearsing the hook steps of his top tracks including ‘Tattad Tattad’ from ‘Ramleela’ and ‘Khalibali’ from ‘Padmaavat’. 

Singh was also seen performing the iconic step of ‘Naacho Naacho’, a track from the 2022 action blockbuster hit ‘RRR’. The track, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, went viral on social media for its hook step. Singh previously danced on the track at a wedding.

Uploading the video, the 36-year-old wrote, “Capacity Crowd?…. Just bring it!”

The post has amassed over 728,000 likes and more than 600 comments. Reacting to the video, actor Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Nacho nacho baba.”

The closing ceremony of the IPL final will take place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on May 29.

While Singh will deliver an energetic dance performance along with backup dancers choreographed by Shiamak Davar, music maestro AR Rahman will woo the audience with his Oscar-winning music. 

Vocalist Neeti Mohan shared snippets from the stadium where she and Rahman will perform later in the day. 

The star-studded closing ceremony will also be attended by actor Aamir Khan, who will be unveiling the trailer of his next film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’

Earlier this week, Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), announced that the ceremony will celebrate India’s 75 years of independence and look back at the history of Indian cricket.
