Considering his popularity and suspicions regarding his unexpected death, Sushant Singh Rajput’s personal life has always been quite a talk of the country. With each one of his acquaintances coming up with their own versions of how the actor lived and also mainly the women in his life, there happens to be lot of unanswered and vaguely answered questions about the ‘MS Dhoni’ star’s life. 

Here’s what we know about the women who were his love interest during his magnanimous but shortly lived life.

Sushant didn’t seem to be a person who would hide a relationship fearing what others would think or the outcomes it might have on his career. Maybe, that’s why he didn’t shy away from publicly proposing his ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co- star Ankita Lokhande on national television during the broadcast of the dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ on which both of them were contestants.

Their relationship was said to have started when the two met each other for the first time on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta.’ The couple reportedly started living together from 2012. 

There were constant rumours that the couple were already married, however the two always denied it. 

In January 2016, Sushant put an end to the rumours and confirmed that the two will have a lavish wedding in December. But unfortunately, the two seperated due to reasons unknown, months prior to the wedding date.

He was then rumoured to have been dating his ‘Raabta’ co-star Kriti Sanon. Even though the duo had a remarkable chemistry on screen and off screen they always denied the rumours.

In 2018, rumours arised linking him with his ‘Kedarnath’ co-star Sara Ali Khan. Both the actors made no comments regarding the same.

The very next year he was reported to be in a relationship with the now-media-made-infamous Rhea Chakraborty. The duo were private about their relationship, however succumbing to media pressure, Sushant once responded saying that he can speak for himself if the questions were about him, but to those that involved another person, he would need their confirmation before he can speak out.

Rhea Chakraborty revealed that two were dating only after his demise. 

It was only after his death, Rhea came forward to reveal that the two were in a relationship.

However, keeping all the rumours aside, Sushant’s father said that his son spoke to him about getting married in 2021, but he hadn’t given him a clue about who the bride was. His father said that Ankita Lokhande was the only girlfriend he had told him about.
