American screenwriter and producer Malcolm Spellman will write the script of the fourth instalment of the Captain American movie series with staff writer Dalan Musson, as per media reports.

While no other details about the plot, title, cast or director were announced, the creator of “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” will be working on the fourth Captain America movie, reported Hollywood Reporter.

So far, we have “Captain America: The First Avenger”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, and “Captain America: Civil War” in the set.

Even though “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” dealt with the legacy of Captain America and shows how Sam Wilson struggles with fully accepting the responsibility and shield of Captain America, we still don’t know if actor Chris Evans will be returning to the big screen to play the superhero in the fourth instalment.

Evans didn’t make a much-anticipated return in “Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” he is mentioned several times through the show. The last time we saw Evans don the Captain America armour was in “Avengers Endgame” when he lives out his life before returning all the infinity stones during time travel.
