The teaser of Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-starrer ‘Chehre’ is out but an actor is missing from the film’s poster and now from the teaser as well. The film, directed by filmmaker Rumy Jafry, also features Annu Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav and Krystle D’Souza. It also featured actor Rhea Chakraborty, who reportedly said in July 2019, that she was part of the film.

The teaser of ‘Chehre’, released on Thursday, opens with Annu Kapoor’s voiceover, where he says that there isn’t a single person who has done no wrong. The background fades and in it appears Hashmi’s face, who then speaks about the concept of honesty in this modern world.

Next, we see Bachchan, who says, “Hamari adaalaton me justice nahi, judgement hota hai. Insaaf nahi, faisla hota hai.” (“In our courts, there is judgement not justice. There is no justice, but decisions”)

Hashmi shared the teaser on Twitter and tagged the cast. He, however, didn’t tag Rhea.

She was also left out of film’s poster that was shared by the actors.

“Chand Chehre, hazaaron raaz. Har chehra kuch kehta hai aur bohot kuch chupata hai. Uncover their real #Chehre in cinemas on 30th April 2021,” tweeted Hashmi, along with the poster. In it he tagged the cast in which Chakraborty was left out.

Chakraborty didn’t feature in another poster of the film.

“Chehre bohot dekhe magar aaj dekha apna chehra. Aankhon mein sawal bohot see, zehen mein soch ka pehra,” Chakraborty had tweeted in 2019. She attributed the tweet to Jaffrey, the film’s director and tagged the cast.
