Rolling Loud has become a much-anticipated music event with several global editions. This year’s edition got off to a somewhat choppy start with stop-and-go performances by some big-time stars including Travis Scott, who had his set end early.

The 30-year-old rapper was the key artist Saturday for the LA music festival. While everything appeared to be going smoothly through his performance, Scott’s background tunes started to fade as he was in the middle of running through his hit song Goosebumps. Scott came on the mic shortly after everything was stopped to say that they were making him cut things off early. No further explanation was offered.

According to a TMZ report, there are rumblings that the rapper was late for his performance, which may explain the strict time limit.

Another headline star, Nicki Minaj also had to face disturbances in background tracks and audio. She also addressed the issue at the moment and called out the DJ.

The singer kept saying “kill the DJ” and was giving death stares as the guy continued to struggle to play the right song behind her. Lil Wayne, her former mentor, was also standing right next to her, as he’d brought her out as a special guest.

In a surprise, Justin Bieber also performed at Rolling Out and the crowd was super pumped when he rolled up next to Don Toliver. He helped sing their joint song, Private Landing.

Bieber’s cameo performance comes amid the cancellation of his world tour without proper explanation. The Baby singer canceled the world tour spanning all across the globe, including several counties in Europe.
