“I am not very strict…I think I am quite relaxed and chill. I have to inculcate discipline a little more as Saif spoils Taimur so much that it annoys me sometimes. And during the lockdown, our schedules went haywire. So, Saif would want to watch a movie with Taimur at 10pm and I would have to step in and say no because it is his bedtime.

“Now with two children, it has certainly become a bit more difficult, but I have to be particular about things like meals and bedtime. With Saif being so relaxed, I have to be a little tougher as I feel children need to grow up with some sense of discipline,” she told Cosmopolitan.

Kareena and Saif’s elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, turns five today. Their younger song, Jeh Ali Khan, was born on February 21, 2021.

When asked if she could go back in time and talk to the younger Kareena, what would she say to her? The actress responded, “The problem is, I rarely look back as I am the kind of person who believes in moving forward. I am not the kind of person who dwells on the past. So, there is very little I could have said to younger Kareena as I was exactly the way I am now, back then. My past has made me who I am today.”

Kareena admitted that travel brings her joy in the new normal. She said, “Travel at the moment, as post Covid-19 everyone wants to get out and meet friends and family. One feels the need to move around and feel normal again.”
