Actor Rhea Chakraborty took to her Instagram to post a picture of her brother Showik Chakraborty and called him a brave and humble warrior. “My brave brother, my humble warrior. #gratitude #faith #fortitude #resilience #patience,” she wrote along with a re-sharing a post that Showik has shared.

Earlier, Showik remembers one years of coming out from jail after he along with his sister were arrested in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
“A year later…From being down under to rising up – this one year has taught me what I couldn’t learn in the 24 years of my being. The value of normalcy, the true expression of love and the meaning of gratitude. This year carved me into the person i am now, and I have nothing but gratitude to be here – ‘Home’ with my family and friends. I want to thank everyone who stood by my family – you’ll truly were our ‘lifelines’ Onwards and upwards from here on..,” he wrote.

In September 2020, Rhea and Showik were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for allegedly providing drugs to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The sibling duo was sent to Mumbai’s Byculla Jail, where Rhea spent a month while Showik got his bail after three months.
