Hollywood Singer Adele made her debut as a host on Saturday Night Live on October 24 where she joked about her recent weight loss and also said that her “album is not finished.”
As Adele took the stage, she jokingly said, “I know I look really, really different since you last saw me. But actually, because of all the COVID restrictions…I had to travel light and I could only bring half of me.”
The Grammy award winner added, “And this is the half I chose.” The 32-year-old said that she was “too scared” to sing at the show and host at the same time. She added, “I would rather just put on some wigs, have a glass of wine or six, and see what happens.”
The singer, in the show, played a female contestant looking for a date in the spoof of the reality show The Bachelor.
Adele said at SNL said, “I’m here because I’ve had a lot of heartbreak in my life – first at 19 and then, sort of famously, at 21 and then, even more famously, at 25.” The singer was referring to the titles of her first three albums.
