Popular American singer-songwriter Halsey on Monday took to Instagram to announce the birth of her first child with screenwriter boyfriend Alev Aydin. The baby was born on July 14 as per Halsey’s post. The couple named their bundle of joy, Ender Ridley Aydin.
In her announcement post, the ‘Without Me’ singer wrote, “Gratitude. For the most “rare” and euphoric birth. Powered by love. Ender Ridley Aydin. 7/14/2021.”

She also attached pictures of herself with the baby and Aydin. In one of the pictures, Halsey can be seen breastfeeding her newborn.
Halsey who kept her pregnancy secret for a long time announced in January that she was expecting he first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin in a series of Instagram posts.
“Surprise!” she captioned the post, adding the bottle, rainbow, and angel baby emojis. Aydin also showed his excitement in the comments section, writing, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness,” to which Halsey replied, “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!”

However, Halsey’s pregnancy has always been the talk of the town, even before she got pregnant. Earlier that year, Halsey shared a post saying she’s got a secret to share with fans that got people into thinking if the singer was pregnant.
The guesswork, however, was over before it began after Halsy clarified that it’s nothing related to pregnancy.
“People think my last tweet is me hinting I’m pregnant, which means I’m either: a. gaining weight b. acting weirder than usual. Jokes on u, I’m doing BOTH! however STILL not pregnant!”, she said at the time.

Prior to her relationship with Adyin as well, Halsey faced some nasty rumours about her pregnancy with ex-boyfriend Evan Peters. The ‘Be Kind’ singer denied the speculations then as well tweeting, “Still not pregnant. Still just allergic to gluten. Still love pancakes.’ She later joked: “Is it a boy? Is it a girl? It’s pancakes.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, two-time Grammy Award nominee Halsey and her screenwriter boyfriend, Alev Aydin are set to release their fourth studio album, ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’. The album is produced by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
The album will drop on August 27, 2021.
