Stephen A. Smith made his WrestleMania debut on Saturday. The sports commentator joined the WWE presenters’ team ahead of the 39th edition of the marquee event at the SoFi Stadium.

The thought of seeing Stephen A. at SoFi Stadium for WrestleMania had already generated a lot of discussions. This was due to the fact that the host of First Take has become closer to several important WWE figures, including Flair, Triple H, and his former agent Nick Khan. However, a lot of people on social media were not happy about his appearance at the event. They also made their opinions known by speaking their minds about Smith on Twitter.
“Stephen A Smith talking smack in the wrong sport,” a Twitter user said.
“@stephenasmith why are you at wrestlemania this is not your industry stick to mainstream sports don’t dishonor sports entertainment with your presence,” another one added.
However, a lot of people also encouraged Smith’s presence at Wrestlemania. One Twitter user said, “Stephen A Smith is gonna be at WrestleMania him and Michael Cole are gonna give Dominik Mysterio pure hell”, while another one said, “In another life, Stephen A Smith could have been the best pro wrestling manager of all time.”
Others made fun of Stephen Smith for being on so many ESPN shows saying, “Who’s watching the first day of WrestleMania? Stephen A Smith really earning those checks from ESPN. They legit got him working everything. Can y’all hire some additional talent LOL”
