Stevie Nicks postponed her Thursday concert in Phoenix due to illness, promoters said. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer and songwriter in a social media post on Wednesday said that she was ollowing doctor’s orders “for vocal rest.”

The 74-year-old and singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton were scheduled to play Phoenix’s Ak-Chin Pavilion. Nicks was  diagnosed with a non-COVID respiratory ailment. She last played on Monday in Los Angeles.

Concert promoter Live Nation said the show was postponed and rescheduling would be announced at a later date. Ak-Chin Pavilion said that it would honor all previously purchased tickets on the new date. 

“Ticket holders would be emailed with updates,” it added.

In April 2019, Stevie Nicks was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The 74-year-old became the first woman to be inducted twice, once as a member of Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist. She is known for singing and writing hits such as “Stand Back, “Stop Dragging My Heart Around,” “Rhiannon,” “Gypsy” and “Leather and Lace.” She returned to live performances in May after a two-year hiatus.

Nicks cancelled some of her 2021 concerts at music festivals in August because of the coronavirus pandemic.

How to get a refund on the Phoenix ticket?

Ticketmaster says that refunds on tickets are only allowed in limited circumstances. If a refund in approved by the Event Organizer, one will see a “Request a Refund” link in their online account.

After submitting a request, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. However, if an event is cancelled, the event organizer will process the refund to the orginal method without any actions needed.
