Stranger Things’ season 4 is all set to release on Netflix today, after nearly three years of anticipation. This season is set to be the best yet, with longer episodes and more characters than ever before.

Season 4 will follow characters in Hawkins, Russia, and the Byers family in California.

As of now, all we know is that this season is set six months after the Battle of Starcourt.

Fans have searched scene by scene for indications about the fates of their favourite characters this season based on several trailers for the new episodes that have been released.

Although no main characters have died in the past season, here’s a list of possible deaths in season 4-

1. Steve Harrington

Steve Harrington was originally meant to be a contemptible character who would never be redeemed in the first season of ‘Stranger Things’. Steve fighting the Demogorgon and saving the day was never planned and was set to die in season 1 itself.

Tables turned Joe Keery took on the role, and Steve is now undoubtedly one of the show’s most loved characters. We’ve seen Steve put his life on the line in the past to save the group, and we believe the same will happen in ‘Stranger Things’ season 4, with a possible question – will he survive?

2. Max Mayfield

Sadie Sink (Max) first appeared on ‘Stranger Things’ in season 2.  The trailer revealed that Max will see the grandfather clock that showrunner Matt Duffer mentioned to IGN.

The Duffer brothers stated –

“If you see the clock, it’s not great. Max, unfortunately, did see the clock, and as we see her levitating later in the trailer, it doesn’t seem like that was a good thing.” Some fans believe the trailer reveals Max’s death in ‘Stranger Things’ season 4.

3. The Creel family

Victor Creel is one of the new main characters this season. From the trailer, it seems that he will be imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for the murders he committed.

The Creel family moves into a new house in the trailer, but it instantly becomes haunted. We see two bodies on the ground in one frame, and fans believe Victor might kill his own family members in ‘Stranger Things’ season 4.
