‘Stranger Things’ season four is already out for fans to enjoy after a three-year hiatus. The season will be released in two installments. The second volume will conclude season four of the sci-fi series.
David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin will return for the new season. The storyline is set roughly six months ahead of where the last season ended.

When does the season release?
The first volume of Season 4 containing episodes 1 to 7 is set to release on May 27, 2022. The second volume will drop on July 1, 2022, consisting of two long episodes.

The first volume is already out for fans to stream on Netflix. The second volume will also be exclusively released on Netflix.
What is different this season?
Except for the storyline, the creators of the show have also made some alterations to the run time. The episodes in ‘Stranger Things’ season four will be longer than usual.
Previously the episodes used to stretch to roughly one hour. However, volume one of season four has episodes as long as one hour 38 minutes.

The season finale episode, which is named ‘The Piggyback’, will be the longest so far. The creators of the show said it will run for two hours and 30 minutes.
Is season four of Stranger Things the last one?
No. Fans will have more coming their way. Earlier this year in February 2022, creators ‘Duffer Brothers’ announced that Netflix has approved a fifth season of the show. However, the fifth season will be the last one.
