Super Bowl is on the brink of
arrival and with it, it hopes to bring its long-lost friend, the box office,
back from the purgatory. Super Bowl offered Hollywood a key to the American
population’s undivided attention, giving them the opportunity to air roughly 30-second-
long commercials and movie trailers during half-time. The pandemic may have hit
the box office, pushing release dates, but the Super Bowl, starting February 7,
offers a nearly five-million-dollar chance to showcase the best of commercials
and cinema.
Here are some of the movie
trailers and commercials expected to premiere at the Super Bowl:
1.
Venom: Let There
Be Carnage
Initially
intended to hit the theatres in North America on October 2, 2020, the release
of ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ was pushed ahead to June 25, 2021, courtesy
the coronavirus pandemic. It is one of the few films whose trailer will be
exhibited at the biggest event on television. Andy Serkis, who replaced Ruben
Fleishcer, the director of ‘Venom’ will stun the spectators with his
motion-capture experience to the film. The trailer shows a short glimpse of the
popular Marvel villain, Carnage, building anticipation for the movie.
