Tapsee Pannu, playing the titular role
of an athlete in her upcoming movie ‘Rashmi Rocket’, said on Thursday that shooting for the Ranchi schedule of the flick was completed, reported PTI.
Tapsee plays the role of a talented athlete
in the sports-drama set in the background of Kutch, Gujarat.
“Done with the races finally!
Hasn’t been a day I haven’t tipped my hat to the real athletes who do this
everyday of their life for years!”, Pannu captioned one of her
black-and-white photos as an athlete from the sets of the film.
“I am glad I don’t have to do this
for real #RashmiRocket,” PTI further quoted her as saying.
With ‘Karwaan’-famed Akarsh Khurana directing
the film, the writing for the movie has been done by Nanda Periyasamy,
Aniruddha Guha, and Kanika Dhillon.
Having recently featured in Amazon Prime
Video’s ‘Mirzapur’, actor Priyanshu Painyuli stars in the film alongside Pannu.
