Taylor Swift is reportedly dating 1975 frontman Matthew Healy after her breakup with Joe Alwyn. The two, as per The Sun, are ready to public with their relationship at the former’s Nashville, Tennessee The Eras Tour concert.
Swift split from actor Joe Alwyn earlier this year, ending a six-year relationship.
The Sun, quoting a source close to Taylor Swift, reported: “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out. Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover. Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”
On January 12, Matty’s mother Denise and Taylor clicked a picture at his band’s sold-out concert at London’s O2 Arena.
Swifties from all over the world are now reacting to the 11-time Grammy winner’s new romance.
“okay but am i the only one that thinks that matty isnt good for taylor’s reputation? not only for matty being matty, but ’cause now people will go back to say that taylor is a serial dater and cant keep a man. joe at least was actually kinda good for her reputation ’cause with -” one Twitter user said.

“There’s just no way Taylor swift and Matty Healy are dating right? Surely we can’t live in a world we’re Denise Welch could be Taylor swifts mother in law 😭😭,” another one added.
“as much as it would be on brand for me for taylor x matty to be true, i’m going to consider you must be stupid if you genuinely believe it is,” a third one tweeted.
The Sun source further added that the two megastars understand the pressure of each other’s jobs.
“They are both massively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one — which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately — she wants to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away. Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy. She’s told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour.”
