Adding to the excitement of the tour, Taylor Swift surprised her Mexican fans by performing “Cornelia Street” live for the first time. The song, a beloved track from her 2019 album “Lover,” had been highly anticipated by her audience. Swift expressed her appreciation for her patient and supportive fans, acknowledging that their requests had been heard.

The Mexico City concerts mark a historic moment in Swift’s career as they are her first-ever shows in Mexico. She engaged her audience by performing a mix of songs, including “You’re On Your Own, Kid” from her album “Midnights.” Swift’s acoustic sets have been a platform for her to reintroduce songs she hasn’t played live before or hasn’t performed in a long time.

Swift’s Mexico City performances kicked off with her debut of “I Forgot That You Existed,” the opening track from her album “Lover,” and “Sweet Nothing,” a lullaby from “Midnights.”
