Taylor Swift skipped the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2023 on Monday. The singer, however, was praised for her sparkly outfit.

The pop icon made an appearance at the event wearing a sparkling, black jumpsuit by Alexandre Vauthier Couture with a crystal-covered hood. Swift completed her contemporary fashion statement with a silvery smokey eye, a glossy nude lip, and a shimmering manicure while sporting sleek, straight hair.

“Taylor Swift didn’t walk the red carpet, but shimmered inside,” a Twitter user wrote, while another posted, “UGH, so he calls me up again, and is like “i still love you” and i’m like… “this is just getting exhausting, yk? like i’m busy watching TAYLOR SWIFT SLAY at the #iHeartAwards︎!!!!”

Another Twitterati commented, “The thing about Taylor Swift is that she’s not only an amazing and talented artist, but she’s also a genuinely beautiful soul who inspires, cares, and saves more people than she will ever know. I’m so proud of her, and I’m proud to be a fan. She deserves the world.”

Taylor Swift, who has already won 14 iHeartRadio Music Awards is now nominated for seven prizes, including those for artist of the year and song of the year. Other awards include Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, TikTok Bop of the Year for Bejeweled, Favorite Use of a Sample (Question…?), and Best Fan Army.

It’s interesting to note that Taylor Swift is currently working on her eagerly awaited ‘Eras Tour’, which has already won praise from both fans and reviewers. Fans have been treated to three-hour sets featuring the full of the record-breaking artist’s career.

Taylor Swift received this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards’ Innovator Award in appreciation of her stellar career, impact on the music world and her efforts as a spokesperson for women and the LGBTQ+ community.

While Swift is not scheduled to perform at the Lenny Kravitz-hosted event, viewers can expect to see Pat Benatar, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, Latto, and Coldplay among others.
